iesy received two nominations in the first quarter of 2017. On the one hand, the BeagleCore Maker Pro module was nominated as one of the best 100 products in the field of electrical engineering. The german trade journal "Elektronik" honors  pioneering products throughout eleven categories every year.

On the other hand, the industry leading magazine "Markt&Technik" nominated Martin Steger as "Manager of the Year" for Embedded Systems for the third time in a row. The nomination reads: "Martin Steger [...] breaks new ground – for example by using Kickstarter –, in order to bring embedded modules to new user groups." Before that Steger received the award in 2015 and 2016 for his efforts concerning the standardization and marketing of embedded NUC. This year, the nomination focusses on the BeagleCore market launch as well as on the associated development of new target groups for embedded computing, such as the Maker Pro scene.

While the election of the "Product of the Year 2017" has already finished, you can elect the Managers of the Year 2017 in a total of nine categories until March 14, 2017. Join in - each vote counts!
