Martin Steger follows in the footsteps of his father, Dr Gerhard Steger

The last few weeks have brought many changes for ies.
In November 2008, our highly esteemed managing director Dr Gerhard Steger passed away at the age of 63 after a long illness and far too early. His son Martin Steger (33) is now following in his footsteps and has been managing director of ies GmbH & Co. KG since 10 October 2008.
After studying electrical engineering in Aachen, he has been entrusted with sales tasks at ies and Kontron since 2000 and is looking forward to the tasks ahead with confidence.
Martin Steger is proud to be able to lead the family business, which has been run by the Steger family since 1997, into a successful future in the spirit and memory of his father.
