New ies headquarters building completed in Meinerzhagen

After more than 40 years, ies left its headquarters in Kierspe at the end of 2008 and moved into its newly constructed building in the Darmcher Grund industrial park in Meinerzhagen.

The approximately 30 employees of ies now work in a new environment covering 1,000 m² of office and production space. In order to guarantee an improved workflow, the work areas in the new building were meticulously planned by Dr Gerd Steger and coordinated in accordance with the requirements of a modern production process. For example, the building is now divided into a logistics and production level on the ground floor and a development and administration level on the upper floor.
The advantages of the new location include not only the proximity of the new industrial estate to the motorway, but also the idyllic and inspiring natural surroundings of the new building. It is hard to believe that state-of-the-art high-tech computers are being built here in the middle of the countryside.
