Safety Beyond the 99.9 % Threshold

How iesy makes military system verifiably safe in the field

We stream series, send voice messages and book holidays. Every second, more than 100 terabytes rush through networks worldwide – and the trend is rising. This data is personal, confidential – and sometimes sensitive. So it’s no wonder digital providers are already setting the highest standards for encryption and data protection for private users. But what happens when more than just personal information is involved?

When it is not private individuals or companies that exchange data, but military organisations – then it is not just privacy and assets that are at stake, but collective security. Foreign powers can compromise communication systems during operations, read out movement profiles, listen in on radio transmissions or smuggle in manipulated information. This puts people in danger, missions fail and lines of defence collapse. As good as safe is not safe enough.

Data Control Without a Back Door

iesy develops computer hardware that checks, filters, isolates and only releases authorised data. To do this, we define clear interfaces, physically exclude unauthorised paths and reduce connections to an absolute minimum. Cross-domain solutions actively monitor protocols, prevent circumvention and document every access.

It functions autonomously, does not require a permanent connection to the outside world and reliably blocks all unauthorised communication. Compromise is impossible – neither via hidden software nor through physical intervention.

The effectiveness of this security principle has been certified and confirmed by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) – an important step on the way to 100 per cent operational security.

Thought-Through Security

Network technology is the basis of networked defence – and it will remain so for a long time to come. Firewalls alone do not provide sufficient protection. What we need are systems that are simply secure. iesy creates exactly that. Not as a reaction, but as a principle.

Additional context – concise and to the point.
